I've been here several times and love it each time! The interior is clean, well lit and the service is sooo polite and quick. Can't recommend this enough. The food is also super delicious, I've tried a few dishes and tend to go back to the tomato soup with beef slices. Such a great spot and there are several locations too.

Cucumber salad w/ scallion sauce ($7). 5/5 Tomato soup rice noodles w/ fish slices ($13). 5/5 Nothing beats a hot, flavorful bowl of noodle soup on a cold winter day! So many ingredients and so satisfying! And I had leftovers to bring back home. Adding this to my list of go-to spots around the neighborhood!

On a cold winter day in NYC, one of the best meals that's hardy and comforting for me is a steaming bowl of noodles. My friends each ordered those while I ordered the scallion oil based dry noodles but it hit the spot nonetheless! When my friends and I entered, (I guess relatively early for a Sunday afternoon), we were seated immediately and given hot teas. The service was quick and our food made it to our tables one by one. Overall, we were able to sit and eat while catching up with one another as new year music played in the background. The only caveat to dry noodles was that my beef brisket felt a bit chewy. If you happen to like ten seconds yunnan noodles, this place should be a hit with you as well! Highly recommend :)

Ordered the following for delivery: - Brown Sugar Rice Cake ($8.05): 6 pieces of rice cake and was so good and chewy when it's warm! Reminds me of the rice cakes for chinese new year. - Sauce Mixed Noodles w. Minced Pork ($14.95) - Szechuan Spicy Sauce: Mild for the spice, has a bit of a kick and not overpowering. Big portion sizes and they do not skimp out on the minced pork! Would like to order again and try other items on the menu.

Ten Second Noodles has a serious competitor, because the noodle soup options at Ji Bei Chuan are TASTY and exciting! My dad & I came for a quick Sunday lunch, and it was still pretty crowded at 1:30pm. I ordered the Tom Yum Seafood noodle soup ($16) and he ordered the Fish & Tofu noodle soup ($14). I was a bit put off by the prices here since it's a good $3-4 more than Ten Second Noodle, but the portions and toppings both are generous and of good quality. The Tom Yum soup had all the tom yum notes that I usually like, and the spice/sourness was perfectly balanced. It's not super spicy and it's definitely tolerable. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of toppings - I got about 2 mussels, 4 shrimp pieces, and 4 pieces of fish fillet on top of all the other veggies and whatnot. Interior is a bit smaller but definitely still fits a good amount. Best for groups of 2-4. Cash & card are both accepted. They also have a loyalty card here for order 10 times, get 1 free!

clean, spacious and comfortable. But more importantly the food was really good. They specialize in noodles both soup and dry. They have lots of soup options, something for everyone. Dry noodles with braised items, we tried the braised tripe it was really flavorful. They also have appetizers, some really interesting such as the coconut lava balls, sweet potato mochi fill with coconut sago. The quality of the ingredients were fresh and the soup was soothing and delicious, would def come back esp when it gets colder.

One of my favorite spot to get rice noodles. Great to see a location in this neighborhood. This location is smaller but new and fresh. Service is friendly and attentive here. My go to is the Fish Maw Chicken Rice Noodle. The broth is rich, comforting and flavorful. I also like their Original Bone Soup & Fish Broth. Their spicy chicken wings and mix noodles is not a good as this other spot nearby.

The staff are pretty attentive and super friendly so if you're feeling indecisive, definitely ask them questions about the menu. The tables are a little too close to each other, but still not as bad as the usual ramen spots, so it's okay. Decent amount of seating. I've tried the Ji Bei Chuan in Chinatown which I was thought was just alright, but so far, this location is definitely better and I'll be returning on another rainy day. Overall, the portions are pretty big, especially the noodles itself, so you'll leave very satisfied. If you've had crossing bridge noodles before, the ingredients are pretty much the same, but it comes out as one pot. Assorted Meats Sauce Mixed Riced Noodle: didn't get a picture of this one, but I liked the peanutty sauce and the noodles are so slurpable. The meats are good, but there was too much of the pork intestines, which we didn't finish. Ji's Fish Maw Soup Rice Noodle (Without Chicken): they only give two pieces of the fish maw if you're wondering :D I actually really enjoyed the broth, it was comforting but with enough taste/flavor and wasn't bland. It's closest to a chicken broth taste, but much much better. I prefer my spicy soups usually, but I definitely wouldn't mind ordering this one for myself either. Cucumber Salad with Scallion Sauce: we were curious about the scallion sauce lol. You can easily make this yourself at home - I was expecting a garlicky cucumber with this scallion sauce, but the cucumbers were just plain. Fried Fish Skin: warning, very salty, but so crispy and yummy. Not sure I'd order again, but it's definitely fresher than what you'd get in a package sold at the supermarkets. Mala Spicy Rice Noodles with Beef Slices: considering there were three peppers on the menu for this dish, it actually wasn't very spicy. That was like mild to medium spicy for me at most. Generous with the noodles, generous with the fatty beef as well. Broth wasn't too salty and tasted good.

stopped by with my mom for a quick meal at this noodle soup on 86th St. In summary, relatively newish and clean shop, tasty noodles options and decent appetizer selection. Moreover, the hot tea (which is free) was so rich and soothing. Went with the Beef Brisket noodles (R4) for $13. Decent portion size, a very hot hot stone bowl, flavorful soup, tender beef pieces and lots of goodies in the bowl. My mom went with 2 appetizers including the fried tofu (small bite size pieces with sauce) and the spicy chicken wings (they were OK and likely air fried) Friendly staff, mostly on the younger side and they speak Cantonese.

A nice addition to 86st, the space was clean and modern, service was quick, and food was good. Really enjoyed their cucumber salad with scallion sauce which was unique. For appetizers we tried the truffle fries, cucumber salad, cold cut chicken, braised pork intestine. I would skip the braised pork intestine as it wasn't prepared to well and still had a strong gamey taste. Everything else was good. For the main, we tried the tomato broth beef noodles and the fish maw supreme chicken rice noodles. The tomato broth was fine but the chicken rice noodles was flavorful and hearty. Would recommend that!
